Id and Igo
In the world of Id and Igo, when an animal dies, it can choose whether to move on to the afterlife or return to life as a creature from Japanese mythology with its soul bound to a sacred shrine. Should the shrine get destroyed, the spirit must bind its soul to a new one or fade from existence completely. When a kitsune (fox spirit) named Igo's shrine is burned in a fire, he must share a new one with a mischievious tanuki (raccoon-dog spirit) named Id. With extremely contrasting personalities and an ancient blood feud between their respective species, Id and Igo must learn how to share their new life together in relative harmony.
Id is a tanuki with a prankster streak. He loves nothing more than to befuddle people with practical jokes, though they do not always go as planned. Digital
Calm and collected at heart, Igo often tries to keep his shrinemate Id in check when he goes too far with his pranks. When he is not trying to talk some sense into Id, he enjoys relaxing with a cup of tea. Digital

Kyuuri is a kappa (Japanese river troll) who is Id's best friend and a trickster in his own right. Many of Id's pranks are carried out with Kyuuri by his side. Digital
