Couch Potato Chair

Working out the Chair
In the process of getting the performance down for the chair, I hammered out what the chair's personality would be. His character slowly evolved from being a quiet, bookish type to being more laid back and lazy. Digital.

Working the Chair's movements
In order to manipulate the chair, I incorporated human-like movements that complemented the chair's design. I was able to use the chair's arm rests as actual arms and hands, its wheels as legs, and its cushion as its bottom. Digital.
Previsualization Gallery
A 2-D animated excercise done in Toon Boom Harmony. For this performance, I had to show a living inanimate object interacting with a nonliving inanimate object. 4 sec
