In working with Kat's mouth movements for her puppets, I made sure to squash and stretch her otherwise static upper jaw in order to exaggerate her mouth accents. Digital.
I wanted the background behind Kat to imply the story of how she obtained the sandwich in the first place. By placing the still-flickering flames in the background, I hoped to convey how the scenario unfolded recently, giving the clip a sense of time. Digital.
A puppet animation of my character Kat from my story All for the Giants, rigged and animated in Toon Boom Harmony. Here, I was tasked with finding a four-syllable dialogue, and then rigging and animating a character speaking it. The dialogue is from Lilo and Stitch, and the story behind this is that Kat, disgruntled from having to wait in a long line to get her favorite sandwich, goes crazy and ends up burning the whole shop down. The dialogue is her explanation for why she did it. 2 sec
